We take every care to reproduce product colors accurately in our webshop. However, we cannot guarantee that the actual product is exactly the same color or appearance as you perceive it on screen because it can vary from one computer to another. To shop at capesweden.com, you must be 18 years of age. All orders must be placed through our webshop, and we do not accept orders by email, SMS or other means. All payments must be made through our partner Klarna. We reserve the right to cancel or modify your order due to out-of-stock items, price changes, non-delivery from the supplier or printing errors. We comply with the Swedish Distance and Off-Premises Contract Act. All prices include value-added tax at 25% and are expressed in Swedish kronor (SEK). This website and its contents are owned by Cape Sweden AB or its licensors. The information is protected by intellectual property rights and market laws. This means that the trademarks, trade names, product names, images, photographs and graphics, design, layout and information about goods, services and other content may not be copied or used without written consent from Cape Sweden AB.  In the event of any dispute, Cape Sweden will follow the recommendations of the Swedish National Board for Consumer Complaints.


Order confirmation

When we have received your order, you will receive a confirmation via email that contains information about your order. Review your order confirmation to ensure that the information appears correct. If you have any questions. please contact our customer service. Save the order confirmation – it can be helpful when you contact customer service.


Availability disclaimer

We reserve the right not to be held liable in the event of sold-out items or any pricing errors that may occur. If the item you want to order is sold out or out of stock, you can still place your order. However, you will receive a message stating that the item is on backorder and you will be informed of the estimated delivery time for the item.


Force majeure

Cape Sweden is not liable for failure to perform any obligation under this agreement if such failure is due to events beyond our control as described below and if these events prevent, hinder or delay performance of our obligations. Such events beyond our control include government action or omission, new or amended legislation, conflict, embargo, fire or flood, sabotage, or major accidents or other types of natural disasters. Force majeure also includes administrative decisions that affect the market and products negatively, for example restrictions, warnings, bans, abnormal decline in the market, or if the company is exposed to criminal activity that affects the business.



We reserve the right not to be held liable for items that are sold out or discontinued. We cannot guarantee that all images accurately reflect a product’s true appearance, color and details such as buttons and the like. We reserve the right to change any typographical errors on this website. We also reserve the right to adjust the prices and any pricing errors.

We use Klarna’s payment notes and payment solutions, which provide a secure, smooth process for you as a customer. We offer payment by card, invoice and installment. There is no surcharge for payments made by card or invoice.

We also use PayPal.


Payment by card – No surcharges

You can pay with your Visa or Mastercard through Klarna Checkout. We currently accept the following cards: VISA, Mastercard. For payments by card, the purchase price will be reserved and your card will be charged when your order ships.


Payment by invoice

To pay by invoice, you must be at least 18 years of age and be registered as a resident in Sweden. You must also pass the credit check that Klarna performs at the time of purchase.

Payment terms are net 14 days. In the event of late payment, a statutory reminder fee of SEK 60 will be charged as well as interest at 24% plus the applicable reference rate of interest. Klarna performs a customary credit check without a courtesy copy, and the package is delivered only to the address where you are nationally registered.


  • Klarna Account – Payment installments via Klarna Checkout

With Klarna Account, you can choose how much you want to pay each month. Klarna’s payment installment service is designed for easy and flexible online purchasing. You don’t have to fill out forms or log in, but simply use your personal identity number.


Direct debiting via your bank

You can also pay directly from your bank using direct debiting via Klarna Checkout.


Delivery terms


Free shipping and free returns within Sweden

For deliveries to Sweden, we pay the shipping costs of your order. And, if you decide to change colors or sizes, we will pay the cost of the return delivery. Simply use the pre-printed return label and place it over the old shipping label on the outside of the brown corrugated box. For returns, please read the information on this page under “Exchanges and returns.”


Worldwide shipping

Cape Sweden delivers all over the world. We offer free shipping but you pay and are responsible for paying any taxes and customs or import duties to or within your own country. Within Europe, your order is normally delivered within 4-7 business days after we receive the order. However, you will be responsible for return delivery costs if you would like to exchange or return your item. All prices include Swedish value-added tax at 25%.

Outside the European Union, your order is normally delivered within 10-12 business days after we receive the order. However, you will be responsible for return delivery costs if you would like to exchange or return your item. All prices include Swedish value-added tax at 25%.


Delivery method

Our packages are shipped using DHL Service Point or DHL home delivery

If using DHL Service Point, the package arrive at the agent you choose for picking up your package. You can track your package using your tracking number on DHL’s website, and you can also track the status of your shipment up until it is delivered to your agent.

You will be notified by SMS and will then be alerted when the package is available at your nearest postal service point. For SMS notifications, you will receive a number that you must provide to the agent along with your personal ID card when you pick up your package.

We are responsible for ensuring that the goods are sent to your agent undamaged. In the unlikely event that your package was broken or damaged in transit to you, you should return it immediately to your agent/postal service point. We kindly ask you to return the item in its original packaging. If you discover that items you ordered are missing or damaged upon receipt, please contact us. When you return a package, please place the cape in its original black packaging and reuse the same brown corrugated box it arrived in to send it back to us. If the items are damaged or lost during a return from you, you as the customer are responsible for paying for the items.

When using DHL Home delivery, (often using outside sweden) You have to be home and sign your package.

Delivery time

Your order is normally shipped within 2-5 days if you are paying by credit card or invoice. During peak shopping times, delivery may take longer.


Exchanges and returns


Naturally, you have the right to exchange or return your cape. According to Swedish and European law, you have 14 days to cancel and return your purchase. This means that within 14 days of picking up your package you must contact our customer service at kundservice@capesweden.com and return the item.

Please contact our customer service at kundservice@capesweden.com if you would like to return or exchange an item. We will mail a return form to you which must be completed and returned with the package. You will need to print this form on a printer.

If you are exchanging an item for a new color or size, we will pay the return shipping costs for returns within Sweden. We’ll of course pay for shipping the new cape to you. The item you return or exchange must be unused, unwashed and in original condition. Return the item with all original tags or labels still attached, or else we will not accept your return or exchange. When you return a package, please place the cape in its original black packaging and reuse the same brown corrugated box it arrived in to send it back to us. Cape Sweden does not accept liability for any items that are damaged or lost in transit back to us. To help you avoid this problem we include a pre-printed shipping label with your order, so please use this for your return. Drop off your return package at the same postal service point where you picked it up. Shipping is prepaid. If you do not use our pre-printed shipping label and choose to return your package using another shipping company, we recommend that you return it to us by registered mail. Email kundservice@capesweden.com to receive information about the return address. We do not accept in-person returns; all return shipments must be sent to us via a shipping company. Please note that Cape Sweden does not accept liability for return shipments that are lost. We will process your return as soon as we receive it and will issue a refund to you through Klarna.



If the cape has a manufacturing defect, you have the right to file a return claim. The claim must be made within a reasonable time after the defect was discovered. We ask that you contact our customer service at kundservice@capesweden.com as soon as possible so we can help you. When you return the items to us we will, of course, pay for the shipping costs. Use the pre-printed shipping label inside your package. Remove the old shipping label and affix the new one on the outer corrugated box. The return service that we provide is done through the same agent/postal service point as where you picked up your package. Claims made by any other means will not be accepted. If the claim is due to faulty goods or because we shipped the wrong item, we normally exchange the item for a new one. If the item is out of stock, we will refund you for your purchase.


Unclaimed packages

If the package is not picked up from the postal service point, the package will be sent back to us. We will charge a shipping and administrative fee of SEK 249, and this amount will be deducted from the cost of the items that will be refunded to you. Packages are held at the postal service point for 14 days before they are returned to us. You will receive a reminder by mail after 7 days. On the 14th day, you will receive a text message that the package is being returned to us.
